Shanell McNair-Kalu is a recalibrator of hearts, a torchbearer of truth, and a relentless voice for purpose-filled living. Called at just 16 years old, she surrendered fully to the will of God and never looked back. Born into ministry as the daughter of pastors, she was nurtured in the rhythms of reverence and obedience, yet her path would be uniquely her own—marked by divine disruption and intentional grace.
Shanell’s spiritual formation was shaped under the covering of her parents, Bishop Alvin McNair and the late Pastor Sheila McNair, who instilled in her the discipline of submission and the beauty of servanthood. In 2008, she was ordained as an Elder—a milestone that confirmed her voice in the Kingdom. But God wasn’t done. On September 25, 2022, Shanell stepped fully into pastoral leadership, installed as Senior Pastor of Purpose Konnected Ministries (Agape Church and New Covenant), where she co-leads with her husband, Kalu E. Kalu, Jr. Together, they serve the communities of Columbia and Newberry, SC, embodying a ministry style rooted in honor, humility, and Holy Spirit-led love.
A double-degreed Social Worker by trade—holding both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree—Shanell blends clinical understanding with spiritual wisdom, creating sacred spaces for healing, wholeness, and transformation. Yet her greatest assignment begins at home: she is the proud mother of three radiant daughters—Carson, Emerson, and Greyson—and a devoted wife. Her family is not only her joy but her grounding.
In 2023, Shanell launched The Recalibrated Woman, a prophetic movement birthed through prayer and led by purpose. With it, she invites women into the sacred work of rediscovery—to heal, to release, and to rise. She teaches that true power begins in identity, and that God still recalibrates destinies.
More than a title or platform, Shanell is a servant. Every message, every movement, every moment she shares is drenched in the desire to glorify God. Her light is not performative—it’s purposeful. Her faith is not stagnant—it’s evolving. And her call is clear: to help others align with heaven, rediscover their purpose, and live boldly in the freedom of who God created them to be.
